Lots of exciting resorts one may find along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The coast is lined with hundreds of kilometers of golden sandy beaches, mountainous hills rise next to the inviting bays.
The youngest Bulgarian seaside resort – the delightful Albena – is situated in the northern part of the Black Sea coast. Albena is a large hotel complex with more than 40 hotels, three camping sites, a shopping centre, lots of restaurants and cafes.
The resort is about 30 km away from the city of Varna and about 40 km away from the international airport of Varna. Albena is attractive because of its 7 km long and up- to-100 m wide, golden beaches. The parks invite everyone for a stroll. You can take advantage of the numerous sport facilities, among which – tennis courts, mini-golf courses, beach-volleyball places, football stadium, sport centre and a stable for public riding.
In the centre of the resort you can enjoy a pleasurable walk along the shady alleys scattered with shops, souvenirs and cozy traditional locals. Folklore and specialty restaurants offer a large variety of local dishes. The spa center in the Dobrudsha hotel, one of the largest spa centers on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, offers 120 medical therapy programmes and treatments using Bulgarian herbs, mud and mineral water. You can also spoil yourself with a cosmetic treatment of all kinds as well as anti-stress and prevention programmes.
